Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn By Marriott Green Bay

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Such a cute townhouse style place. The curtains blocked out most light if we wanted dark. Spacious room, full kitchen with coffee pot and complimentary coffee and popcorn, big TV, very comfortable bed and couch, big mirrors.
There wasn't a garbage in the bathroom to throw away feminine products, but there was one right outside the door under the sink so it's ok.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, very comfortable, and spacious. We felt like we could live there pretty much! I was impressed at how beautifully the grounds were decorated and kept up, like a townhouse community! The breakfast buffet was awesome, with fresh, tasty food, and plenty of choices. The staff was so nice and helpful. The pool looked great too. Everything was very, very nice. I would definitely like to stay there again and will recommend it to my friends for sure. One thing to keep in mind is if you have trouble with stairs, you should request a room on the ground level. Our room was up some outdoor steps, but it wasn't a problem at all for us. ...read more

I liked that the hotel was like a series of townhomes instead of a regular hotel building. I LOVED the working fireplace and that they had a duraflame log in there for us to use. The full breakfast in the morning was very, very good.

Cleanliness,friendly, and great hot breakfast
A very nice facility, and a awesome breakfast. I was just very disappointed that a 3 star hotel did not have a fitness facility, hot tub, or a indoor pool:(This is the first time in many years that my wife and I felt that we had a motel that fell short :(

Quiet location, appearance of grounds outside
The room felt rather dated, and it could have been cleaner

I would not rate this hotel a 3 star as it is more along the lines of 2 1/2 star. The appearance on the outside is beautiful and the location is quiet. Inside, however, the rooms are a little dated.

Rooms were okay. I liked that there was individual entrances for each room. Felt more like a small apartment than a stuffy hotel room.
We reserved a room specifically with a fireplace. Our room did not have a fireplace. We were told those details do not show up when booking with priceline and we should have called ahead to reserved the specific room. Thought that was done with booking!

My daughters were very disappointed that the pool was OUTSIDE, this little detail was not noted while booking the room. The only thing that made that okay was the hotel had an agreement with the local YMCA. We were able to drive to a near by pool. I was also disappointed that I specifically reserved a room with a fireplace and was not put in that type room. I was told I should have called ahead to RE-reserve that room. How is someone supposed to know that? Isn't booking once enough? They did not do anything to try to resolve the issue or make our stay any better. ...read more

Open space of the room. Quiet atmosphere. Toilet/tub separate from sink area.
The hotel was fine, however, I had listed 2 people and ended up with 1 queen size bed and a pull out sofa. I do not want a pull out sofa and neither did my adult daughter. I ended up having to pay extra to upgrade to 2 beds.

I have stayed at this hotel before and would definitely stay here again. There is a nice hot breakfast with a lot of choices.

Based on past experience and travels, the Residence Inn should be rated a 3. The hotel is old and requires renovation to be classified as a 3 1/2 star. Based on the other 3 1/2 star hotels in Green Bay (A Loft,Cambria, etc) this was not equivalent.

The Residence Inn would be ideal for a family or a new employee to the area looking for permanent housing. The suite-style set up is unique. The hotel is older and requires rennovation and is not equivalent to the caliber of the other 3 1/2 star hotels in Green Bay. The staff was outstanding - helpful and efficient. The location was satisfactory. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The stairs for the upper level suites are steep and it was snowing and slightly icy. ...read more

Staff was so friendly! Complimentary breakfast was amazing! Far exceeded my expectations.
The room wasn't ideal for my family of 4. Was hoping for 2 beds--not bed and sofa sleeper. With couch pulled out there wasn't anywhere for us to sit other than on beds. Also it was a little unnerving that there was a mouse trap in the closet.

Ideal for single business travelers or couples. Not ideal room set ups for families. Also no elevator to get to rooms on second levels--open faced steps leading to rooms. Didn't like walking around to back side of building late at nite with young kids.Breakfast is amazing and all the staff was very friendly.
