Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very clean, lovely room, and fabulous staff.
Wasn't as close to Central as I might have liked, but very easy direct tram service just outside the hotel. Otherwise no negative comments.

This hotel is not located in central Zurich. Three years ago I bid on a hotel in the airport area of Zurich and this is the hotel I was booked at.

This hotel is neither in central Zurich nor a five star hotel. On Marriott's web site it is two categories below the Zurich Marriott and it is a fraud for Priceline to have this hotel rated as a five star hotel.

Luxurious modern decor; spacious, quiet rooms

A very new, ultra-modern - yet comfortable and luxurious, not IKEA-like - hotel set in the up-and-coming Zurich West district. Zurich West, like so many other trendy urban big city neighboorhoods, was once a manufacturing and warehousing hub, but is now the center for design, architecture, loft and new urban living alongside new corporate local headquarters. Tram stop is just a block away from the hotel and the Hardbruecke train station is a little further. The train from Hardbruecke to Zurich main station takes exactly 2 minutes. Despite overlooking a very active rail yard and major high-rise construction site, I never heard a peep of outside noise in my room. Hallway noise and room-to-room noise was also limited, which made for a relaxing stay, despite being in the middle of the vibrancy and energy of Zurich's trendy nightlife district. ...read more

Great modern room and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to the train that goes to the airport.
The location, there is nothing central about it. You need to take a tram for 20 minutes each way to get to the main area. That is a lot of time wasted if you are only in town for a few days.

Beautiful hotel but unfortunately a terrible location for a tourist, probably great for a businessman....

Nothing
Everything

Not what your description said. No pool, small rooms. It was not a 5star, but a 4star. I bid for a 5star(the hotel rated its self as a 4 star!

If you are prepared for how to manage the location with the tram and train, the hotel itself is very pleasant and the surrounding area manageable. I was realistic with my expectations and therefore left very satisfied with my stay and the value offered.
The walk from the train is currently not pleasant, but it is easy to see that soon this will be a very good area when all the construction is completed. If you know how to use the trains and trams it is actually quite convenient.

This hotel was an exceptional value and reached by frequent tram or the many local trains stopping at the nearby station just one stop from the Central Station in Zurich. The staff was excellent and well trained. The décor was very well done and the comfort level high. This is a modern five star experience and if one's expectations are realistic the property can provide a quite pleasant experience. ...read more

Beautiful room, very luxe
In the middle of an industrial park, kind of a desolate area. Best if you have business right there. For sightseeinmg you will have to hop on the tram to get to the interesting bits.

Rooms say "luxury", location says "business". But train/tram/bus transport is very close.

Very helpful staff.
Internet is very expensive.

The area near here is quite interesting--esp along the Viaduct. Interesting restaurants abound.
