Hotel Guest Reviews of the Red Roof Inn - Cincinnati Sharonville

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was good for my purpose.
The first night I was there someone pulled the fire alarm. This rang for about 2 hrs; the phone rang every hour on the hour. When I questioned the front desk clerk (Chrissy) I got a smart mouth response. I let her know I didn't appreciate the remark.

The next day when I returned to my room, I found that housekeeping had passed us by. When I questioned the night clerk, he informed me that Chrissy had told housekeeping that I would not need them that day. All in all a marginal trip turned in to a disaster. Have tried to reach the Manager of the motel but have had little success thus far.

Close to expressway
Filthy, outdated, smelly

Hotel was so bad that we only stayed the first night of a two night stay. Wouldn't have stayed the first night, but all the hotels were booed in this area.

It's location
The bathroom was very small, the air conditioner worked for a few then must have shut off because during the night the room just heated up. Sheets had been popped,in my opinion, as an executive house keeper you kind of know this...

This wasn't that bad of a place,( I travel with my own sheets) but the staff tells you that you under cut them (whatever that means) by going online is not something to tell guests. She may want to talk to the owner about that because I'm sure that priceline did not just pick that hotel out of the blue to pit online. I'm hoping to return to the area to visit family in the area and I may choose another hotel in the area. Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay ...read more

Easy to book online, easy to find the location
The "night access" window made it difficult to speak to the staff member. The window was also in the same room as the ice machine and vending machines so it was very hot and noisy.

The room was standard size and had the items that we specifically chose the room for.

Air Conditioning worked and had good showers.
nope

This Hotel was exactly as advertised and was pleasant to sleep in and it had a very good number of TV channels. The AC was Cold (wonderful). The environment was quiet. Parking lot has cameras. Staff and guests were respectful.

Location, ease of access
Dingy exterior; public spaces could use a spray wash. Ran out of towels; but the front desk lady was kind enough to 'put us on the list' of rooms to contact when towels were received.

You get what u pay for. Non smoking room smelled like people had been chain smoking in there just hours before. Flat screen tv was a nice touch (even though we couldnt find a tv guide anywhere in the room) and free wifi worked well. Apart from the smell, the rooms were clean. Check in and out was quick and easy; front desk clerk was not very personable but not rude by any means; I just got the feeling like she was a fairly new employee. I probably wouldn't stay here again by choice. ...read more

Pretty clean and quiet.
The staff was a bit rude.

The hotel was surprisingly nice. while it wasn't scrubbed clean I found the linens satisfactory. I really enjoy the space of the room and overall it was quiet.I'd definitely stay again.

Bathroom clean with hot water.
Bedspread worn.

Hotel had no pool, so I did not answer those questions above. it was good for what we did -- just sleep for the night after days at Kings Island.
