Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very nice staff, location central (although I wouldn't like to stay further east), and has a great price for the value.

The location is the only issue. It's central, but close to the far end of the downtown core that I feel comfortable in staying at night. During the day it's a great location and very safe, and at night it's almost too quiet for its location.

Helpful and kind staff. Convenient location.
Crowded breakfast room. Meal limited.

Great food next door. Definitely worth the price. Breakfast is limited but good enough to hold you over until lunch. Staff was super helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Great rooms, great location. I really liked that the hotel uses actual duvets, instead of those plastic blankets. The breakfast was also quite good, and well stocked.
Nope.

I would definitely stay here again - close to the skytrain, good quality rooms, and a good rate. The staff were friendly and helpful with checking in, and prepared a good quality continental breakfast.

Your add said Parking & Pets but the Parking was Valet only and was charged $25. There was a pet fee (not deposit) of $20.

The room was tiny and dark but clean.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful through our week's stay. Their best recommendation was to visit Lily Mae's Comfort Cafe just a few blocks away. Every day the housekeeping service did a great job with our room.
The hotels in Vancouver are supposed to be completely non-smoking but there was a persistent offender the hotel seemed to have little power to stop. Smoking charges aren't enough. The smell would creep down the hallway a few days.

I gave the hotel highest remarks because it was better than one could expect for the star level. Also, Ramada turned to junk in the U.S. over the last decade or so; this is not the case, at least in Vancouver. The included breakfast was pretty straightforward-bagels and toast, cereal, oatmeal, apples and bananas, a couple hot items, coffee and juice- and nice to have on most days. The rental car place was a block away and they let us park it there each night for free, saving twentyfive bucks a day on parking. After a week I needed to do a load of laundry and the machines were clean and worked well. The best part was the proximity to Gastown and walking distance from the train running to the airport. I would definitely stay again. ...read more

The staff was very helpful, kind and efficient!
The room was very small, but I understand its an old building and there isn't much that can be done about the room size.

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We really liked that it was close to the Rogers Arena.
The breakfast was average, although it was included in the price of the room. I would not have paid for it.

The staff were very helpful with directions and the room was very clean. The room was on the smaller side, although for two people we did not need anything bigger. I did not notice any outside noise such as traffic and anything else. We did hear other guests, but only in the morning at check out time. The breakfast was average. And you cannot beat the location! We really enjoyed our stay, and will most likely stay there again next time we are in Vancouver. ...read more

The location as well as the friendly staff.
no, we had a great experience

This hotel had a hot free breakfast and was very centrally located. We walked to Gastown, the Convention center, bars, coffee shops, food. They also have valet parking which was a plus and hours are from 7 am to 11 pm. I would stay here again.
