Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Concourse Hotel At Los Angeles Airport - A Hyatt Affiliate

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. I have to move 3x because of room issues. 1st ,TV remote not working, airplane very loud and somebody playing loud music and the room. 2nd, room that smells like sigar. 3rd I requested 2 not 1 bed. It doesn't deserved 3 stars. Staff needs proper training
Lobby was deceitful. It was nice but when you go to the floors, hallway was dirty and rooms are dated.

Lobby staff needs more orientation and needs proper customer service.

Location.
Valet parking bill was higher than advertised....they charged $55 per day. Room was not well maintained....poorly matched wallpaper patches, huge stains on carpet, broken tiles in bath and rust around faucets.

The staff were always eager to please and made you feel welcome. It was fun being so close to the airport runways seeing planes land and take off. I asked for an upgrade at check-in and received it with no problems.
1] The "Business Center" is 3 computers and 1 printer in seperate one person cubby holes down a hallway near the bathroom. 2] You can text the valets to have your car ready, on two occasions they had lame excuses why my car wasn't readily available.

This hotel was a Radisson and changed it's name to The Concourse Hotel during our stay of 8 days. It is going to be completely renovated and open as a Hyatt. I did not have any major issues with this hotel.

It was close to the long term parking, LAX, & had a frequent shuttle to LAX
It was stuffy in the halls and elevator, you couldn't pull in and register with a minimal of 10 minutes parking, the bartender quoted one price then charged another, and the elevators had cracked floors and looked like they needed repairs( broken down!)

I was sorely disappointed in the ambiance . It was not friendly and inviiting. The place seemed like more of a subway ( passing zone ) than an overnight peaceful, relaxing experience. The cable channels were also very limited and didn't offer much for a 3 star hotel! Might as well have just had an antenna!

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very quiet (almost no airplane noise, and no doors slamming at all!)

Hotel parking is very expensive and parking in a lot nearby is not quite as, but still expensive. Metered street parking is $1/hour but you have to move the car every 2 hours. From midnight to 8 AM is free though.

All the hotels on Century just outside LAX are pretty much the same.
Not really. It's fine. Not a destination hotel, just a place to stay near LAX.

We have stayed at several hotels in that area, and this was by far the best. Smooth check-in w/ friendly staff, clean rooms, pristine hotel grounds w/ a nice heated swimming pool in the back. Please use QuikPark self-park behind the hotel to park.
