Hotel Guest Reviews of the Queen Mary Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Beautiful meeting room with the wood walls and pillars.
The room was freezing! Turned up the heat several times and nothing changed. The shower had a loose attachment and the water sprayed on the ceiling and out into the bathroom.

The hotel is historic and we were so looking forward to staying there and touring the museum.
We got to the front of the line to check in and the place was overbooked, so we were sent away. We didn't have a car and were so tired. This was an extremely disappointing experience.

Location and the Queen Mary's history
Needs up dated, seemed run down, carpets in stateroom halls were worn. The beautiful old paneling needed oiled. Wood railing needed stained and clear coated. Same with the wood decking. Ship needed painted. So sad to see it's decline.

Very interesting to see original things still on the boat
Very hard to sleep in the rooms. There is no air conditioning so rooms are very HOT. Also no insulation so you hear everything from the room around you and in the halls.

Location is great, all staff we interacted with were polite and helpful.
Very long wait for seating at the restaurant. One of the surrounding rooms had a smoker, staff dealt with immediately.

The Queen Mary is such a historic place and I love that it is a hotel. It allows one to feel like they've gone back in time yet is modern enough to be very comforatable.
I think if you're staying at the hotel, $20 is a bit steep for parking. It should be included in the price of the room.
