This was a very bad experience. The 1st room I was in has a thin back door that was 2 or 3 feet from the hot tub. People were talking very load to talk over the sound of the hot tub. They moved me to were the back door of the room was in a common area. A big room were the must have had conferences and have breakfast. The back door had been broken at one time by the lock and was very thin. Dickenson has a lot of crime because it is so close to the oil fields. This was not a safe situation and was very uncomfortable to try to sleep. I believe that both your company and my self have been tricked by the pictures they posted. These are very old or from a different Quality Inn. The rooms were not clean and did not look at all like your website. ...

Overall this was a good motel, it has a interesting set up with a large pool and room in the middle. It is by some restaurants and gas stations.

Room was cheap compared to the others in the area... but if that's the case, I'd rather skip Dickinson all together. Although it had good amenities, the room was a bit dingy. The staff don't seem to have been coached on customer service; the lady who checked me in seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. Later, when I was having trouble with my key card, I went to the front desk. Two staff members were present, one helping the only other guest in the room, the other just standing around, not thinking to ask if I needed to be helped. She needed to take the chain off of my door from the outside, and didn't seem knowledgeable on how to use what seems a simple, straightforward tool of the hotel industry (even after I tried to suggest how to use it properly). After having her fumble with it for 5 or 10 minutes, I asked if I could try, and sure enough, got it in the first try :/ I can forgive a lot when it comes to hotel rooms, but customer service is always key, especially for a hotel where people are coming in tired from a long day of travel... ...

This cannot be a 2 star hotel; I have stayed in one star hotels that at least have updated the light fixtures in the last 10 years. It needs updating in almost every way. I told the staff that there were light bulbs missing; they could not find the maintenance staff, so they moved me to a different room, and that room also had a missing light bulb. Both the rooms I was in had a very musty, moldy smell. The food at the breakfast buffet in the morning was very good. I paid alot of money, considering this is Priceline, and I expected much more for the dollar that I paid. There are alot of new hotels in the city, I assume because of the oil industry, and people will not be staying in this hotel if it is not updated soon. ...
