Quality Hotel Berlin Tegel

Nice, clean hotel close to Tegel airport.

Honestly, it was a decent hotel for a night or two. With small children, the room we had was an issue. There were exposed wires to play with, the carpeting was dirty and fraying from the walls, there were cracks in the wood and the floors, exposed sharp parts from disrepair... the entire room was somewhat outdated and in a low level of disrepair. I'm sure those without children or with older children wouldn't mind it, or would love the fact that the room includes a closet with a stove, small fridge, trash bin, and microwave, but with one toddler and one preschooler who love to "explore"- it was more of a hinderance and danger than anything. The bathroom seemed a little grungy as well. It was clean, though. Also, there was no AC in the room, so we had to sleep with the window open. They will only allow you to crack it open so this barely helped at all, and made it difficult to sleep. Also, there was alot of traffic and airplane noise throughout the night that kept waking my toddler up. As I said, I'm sure those without children or with older children might not mind, but in hindsight we would've picked a newer or updated hotel in Berlin with our young children in mind. ...read more
