Hotel Guest Reviews of the Premier Copacabana Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. Yes, room felt very dirty, beds where extremely hard. A/C barely worked, room never really got cold maybe 78 to 80 degrees. When it was between 80 to 85 degrees outside.

Front desk was very helpful, and spoke multiple languages. But the room itself was bad. I will stay somewhere else next time i got to rio!

Located 3 blocks off the beach at half the price. This area is very busy with real life. Each street has a local market, corner bar/coffee shop, and supermarkets with fresh fruit and veggies. Basic Wi-Fi and breakfast was included in the price.
Although it was the least expensive on the list it was still kinda pricey. Rates are working up for World Cup and the 2016.

Nice, comfortable and clean room. Everything worked well. The shower was wonderful. The building top pool area was private (We spent the morning tanning and beach area in the afternoon. Nice views with excellent loungers made the smallish pool area comfortable.

Good location, right in front of the Metro.
Breakfast is included in the fee and it's overpriced.

Great if you want to use the Metro. However, some stations are shut down due to construction.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good, the location was superb. The price was a little steep for what I would call an average hotel.
taxes are not included on many things and charged at checkout.

close to the beach, many restaurants, convenient to the subway right across the street.

Staff and breakfast
Noisy AC, smelly bathroom due to old plumbing style, and hard beds.

It will do the job. Not really rated 4 star in actuality, but good like finding a real 4 star for around their price.

Staff changed my room when I didn't like my first room.
Old, Depressing colors, bad neighborhood, not close to beach.

The Premier Copacabana was disappointing and outdated. It was in a poor neighborhood that is was not located near beach. After investing in what I tried to plan as a great trip, this hotel was a huge disappointment. It was overpriced, and the star rating was incorrect. I would never go back to this hotel.

Friendly staff, security, amenities
Room was very dated and needed surface repairs (e.g., paint missing on wall)

Good customer service, good internet, fair location, and good value for Rio.
Room needed upgrade in fixtures/furnishings.

Overall good stay. Room could use upgrade but otherwise hotel was fine for business. Would also be good for family. Decent location and good value for Rio.
