no phone, tv remote didn't function told room service about both and they said they can't fix it. bath sink was plugged and the repair guy come at 9:00 at night to repair it. absolutely NO room service at all. no beds made, bath towels not replaced.

we wanted a non smoking and when we got there we were told they can't help it if people smoke in the rooms, we probably will never be back there again.

checking out
just about everything

smelly, dirty , rusted metal all over, filthy rugs in the hallways , no security , doors open to the rear entrances all night and all day , no ventilation in the hallways , pitted & rusted metal fixtures in the bathrooms, discolored ,marred and warn tub , the toilet ran constantly, no tissues in the rusted tissue dispenser, flimsy towels, no exhaust in the bathroom, if you used the toilet, you would smell it in the entire room for hours , on the first day, they left a dirty washcloth in the shower and replaced the other with a stained washcloth. When I asked for a clean one at the front desk, I was told " Sorry , the wash has not been done yet " . When I checked in , I asked to see the room first . When the door was opened , I was almost knocked over by the smell of cigar smoke in the room . She had to show me three more rooms before one was found without smoking odors. ...read more

That it was cheap. We needed a place to stay on an impromptu trip up to PA.
The smell of the hallways. The towels and chairs in the room had stains on them. The king sized bed only had 3 pillows. My room card did not work the 2nd day of our stay as the girl at the front desk was not the sharpest tool in the shed.

We learned our lesson in that, it's worth the extr---
a night when you stay at a hotel. A place this cheap is that cheap for a reason.

Good price, with breakfast and close to Shawnee Mountain Ski Area,
Hotel has a strange smell and look a few old.

The front desk clerk was very nice, especially given the challenging hand she was dealt by a property in a very sorry state of disrepair.
This place is probably beyond renovating at this point. It is run down, dirty and smells bad. Great location, but that is about it.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I don't know what else I could say. The first room we checked into had not even been cleaned after the last guest checked out. The second had a defective door lock, which based on the comments of the desk clerk, was just the latest of many added to the bad locks list. The third room was clean enough, but the carpet was threadbare and loose, with wrinkles. The toilet had to be flushed twice to empty. And the entire place smelled. Even in the room, where we found four different household type air fresheners sitting around, the odor persisted. From the appearances, I'd guess a lot of the rooms are in such disrepair, they don't even try to rent them. Many on the first floor had the air conditioning vents boarded up. And judging from the smells coming from a room at one end of the hall on the wing we were in, I'd guess there are people living there and cooking with a hot plate or something. The smell was too strong to have come from cartons of carry out. It's a shame, because this is in a great location just of I-80 at the Delaware Water Gap. But I am not sure I could even recommend it to college kids looking for a cheap Poconos stay for skiing of a canoe trip. Not even sure I'd suggest it to Appalachian Trail hikers looking for a cheap room for an in-town zero day, and trust me, those folks will stay in some pretty dank places. My suggestion to the owners would be to find someone interested in the real estate and sell. ...read more

The first room we were given, Was not room we reserved. When we went back down to the desk he told us that the king room with balcony was not on our reservation, which was untrue. He then changed our room to a king room. When we got to that room the do not disturb sign was on the door. After calling down to the office he explained to me that the room was empty. And after entering the room I come into a room that is not cleaned bed slept in, and trash all over the room. At that point we return the key to the basket and told him we were not staying I left. I then booked another room at a comfort inn seven or more miles away ...read more
