This is a beautiful hotel within the historic district and close to shopping and restaurants, and next door to The Older Pink Restaurant. This is a great place for tourists to stay.

Located in historic downtown on one of the scenic public squares this hotel is within walking distance to both the market place and river shops and restaurants. The valet parking was very reasonable and a historic tour was arranged by the hotel. They picked us up at the door. Very convenient. The room was spotless and decorated in an antique style. If you want a relaxing stay with southern charm, this is a great place to do it. ...

Family Traveling with Teens
The hotel is located in the historic part of the city, only one block from the water and shops. There is a parking garage right across the street so it is very convenient and the staff was extremely friendly.

Excellent location with superior service from valet to front desk to cleaning staff and staff who prepare the breakfast buffet. Front desk staff always available to assist with directions, tickets to local events and tourist info. Next door to The Older Pink House which is an excellent restaurant, great seafood with wonderful history! The afternoon wine and cheese reception is wonderfully presented and served and is a great opportunity to meet and greet other travelers and sometimes locals. Breakfast is average, but served in an elegantly appointed, if extremely warm room on the mezzanine floor. ...

Beautiful small historic hotel in the heart of the North historic district. Only two blocks from the river - near many restaurants / bars. Extremely clean lobby and rooms. Nicely decorated. All-in-all a great experience and well worth the stay.

Group Traveler
The parking attendant took cash from our group and then we were charged on our credit cards for parking. Also, we were told that we would have queen beds when we called, but then when we arrived there were only kings available. We were charged for roll-a-way beds. Very unsatisfied!

The hotel was just as pictured. Breakfast was not just a continental breakfast - it was very good. Staff was on the spot with everything.
