Hotel Guest Reviews of the Pioneer Hotel And Gambling Hall

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Good location on the Colorado River.
Outside of hotel not cleaned of trash and very worn.

OK for a cheap stay, but it had a few problems. Room had leaky plumbing and drapes did not close. Common areas were worn and often had trash lying about.

sunday brunch, good food, reasonably priced. $5.00 free play returned to players club members
lack of amenities in room, plus the casino/restaurants had no indoor access

Rooms were clean and comfortable. the price was right very economical for families. It is probably the only hotel/motel that hasn't upgraded, but that is why they can rent their rooms for less. i would definitely stay there again.

Was separate building from the casino.

Rooms were decorated in 'period' decor which was appropriate. Bare essentials - no hair dryer, no clock. Ice machine in our area of the motel did not work. Beds were comfortable.

Not much the property should be updated.
Rooms were smoky, beds were old and sagging, not too clean.

Outside of hotel was very attractive, but the inside is at least 30 years old and quite worn out. Needs to be updated to be even a one star rating.
