Hotel Guest Reviews of the Paradisus Cancun - All Inclusive

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Not much good stuff to say.
Poor public facilities unless you join their exclusive club membership.

Good looking outside and inside, poor public facilities, and poor management.

Too corporate orientated -there were business people all over with lanyards and ids and corporate signs.
Too corporate orientated I went top forget business.

Nice and clean and great pool and beach, but a bit sticky about coffee charges in room and all that was not clear on check out it added $25 extra dollars for coffee and for just opening the darn fridge in room and we took nothing yet they have buffet dinning crazy.

If there will be a second time visit to Cancun, I will go for this hotel again. The experience of stay is wonderful no matter what type of traveller you are.

Friendly staff, lovely beach, nice pool. Pretty inside.
Everything costs extra. No free coffee in room. It cost us $60 to put a third person in our room even though we had two double beds.

Reasonably priced rooms, but eating and drinking there is not good/expensive. Friendly. Well located for Hotel Zone. Far from downtown, though.

It has a very impressive look and very clean
I arrived one day late due to vehicle breakdown in Belize. When I got to the hotel.....they made me make a $199 deposit to even get in my room

I was one day late and had no way to call the hotel from where my vehicle broke down in Belize. When I arrived they said that they had been only paid for one night as a no show and that in order for me to have a room I would have to give them a $199 deposit to get into the room. I had no choice but to give them the deposit with their promise to get the rest of the money that was originally paid from the agency you booked through. I don't know that they have done this yet. ...read more

Lobby and common areas were pretty amazing. Very beautiful.
Very pricey for food and drink at the hotel if you don't get all inclusive.

Very nice, but it's pretty dead at night with nothing worth mentioning for entertainment. The rooms are nice though, and the lobby and pool areas are beautiful. We elected to not do the all inclusive option because it would have more than tripled our cost versus the room rate.Food is then very pricey at the hotel, so we went downtown several times for some of the delicious local fare, which is much more economical. Went out to Isla Mujeres on a day trip and liked it so much we decided to stay at the Bucanero for the night. ...read more

Luxurious public spaces
Arrogant staff

While the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, the attitude of the staff is infuriating. A stay at the Gran Melia Cancun is just a never-ending sales assault for their time-share. Until they change their policy, I would avoid the Gran Melia chain.

Close to the airport, shuttle, parknfly, good service clean, nice decor
shuttle on pickup took too long to arrive after we notified them

Great hotel to stay if you need to take a flight the next day or if you arrive late and need to sleep right away, room is nice, good size tv, good size room, well lit, comfortable and very good service, drawback?... breakfast starts at 6am
