Hotel Guest Reviews of the Paradise Palms

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location, location and the ocean view.
The hotel is too old, the rooms need to be updated more.

Rates are too high because of its location but the place too old, not worth the money.

Easy access to beach.
The room was filthy.

The office has a horrible smell. The staff is rude. The rooms are filthy with sand. The staff told me to get the broom and sweep the floor out. This when I first got there. The bed sheets had hair on them. The balcony looks like a death trap. The parking is horrible. I had to park far far away from my room. The check in time is at 4 not 2. But I was told if I came early a room could be ready. Got there at 12 no room til 5:30. They should charge--- a night instead---- ...read more

Location right on the beach. The pool they share with Days Inn is nice with the waterfall!
The hotel is old and very outdated decor. The hot water knob in the bathtub has an extra hold when I turn the hot water on.

location, waterfall pool, access to beach
front desk was hard to get help out of and have never been to hotel where is was so hard to get extra towels. they should expect people to take more than one shower a day being on the beach.

given attitude about extra towels because we would go to beach in mourning come in take shower then go out then maybe back to beach later. staying with wife and two teenage daughters. means extra towels. need to work on some better customer service. they said to get extra towels you had to set the old ones outside door and room service would come by and pick them up that did not happen so they set outside my door till next day looking trashy. not sure i would return to this establishment again but will be back to area really enjoyed the area. ...read more

Location! Location! Location!
Parking was a little frightful, but it was a holiday.

It is an older hotel, but it is very clean and comfortable. The decor inside the room is bright and pretty. I liked the tile floors (carpet would have been a disaster with all that sand!) The breakfast was pretty good, mostly instant and prepackaged items, but there was plenty of it: donuts, muffins, toast, biscuits, fruit, oatmeal, grits, milk, juice, coffee. The pools are beautiful, the poolside karaoke was "entertaining", to say the least. And it is BEACHSIDE. Showers and foot baths were located btween the beach and the hotel to wash sand off. Sitting on the balcony was pleasant. We were extremely pleased, so much so that we booked the same location for our trip back through the area. ...read more

The location - on the main strip and the beach was at the back door.
The place is old and out dated. The doors did not close well and there was lots of outside noise. The sheets smelt like a wet dog.

The hotel needed to be updated, beside that everything else was fine.

Need more for breakfast beside sausage and biscuit
