Hotel Guest Reviews of the Packwood Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was nice but the place was a dump! didnt have any toilet paper in the room. when checking in the lady said "You are such nice people I am going to upgrade your room" This was an upgrade?? hate to see what the other rooms look like!

The view of Mt Rainier from the room and the animals painted on the walls (that gave it a quirky but not tacky feel).
The room was very small to the point that it was sort of uncomfortable for us as a couple (since sometimes we don't go to bed at the same time and there was no where for one of us to sit and read or anything). The desk did not have a chair.

The woman at the counter was friendly but disorganized. I appreciated that she purposely gave us a room with a nice view. Overall, I feel this motel is overpriced due to its location close to Mt Rainier. A comparable motel in an area that is less in demand would probably be half the price of this one.

Its location. It is about half as expensive as a hotel in Rainier Park, and about an hours drive to locations in the park.

The location is good for accessing mt Rainier.
The hotel is overpriced.

The mattresses on the beds were different. I slept on a terrible mattress only to discover the next morning that the other bed had a better mattress. Staff was very friendly.
