the owners are wonderful and so are their dogs. the room was dated, but extremely clean. tv had directv, mini-fridge, coffee maker and mini-microwave were clean and worked great. the experience exceeded our expectations.
needs more outlets.

Not many motel/hotel choices in Pacific City. This place was just OK. It was probably the best you will get in this small town. The weather changed and we were not able to see the three capes, so that was diappointing.
Meager ammenities - shampoo in throw away packets, no hair dryer, no tissues, could have been cleaner. Owner was very nice and gave us some ideas of where to go. Restaurant on site but we did not use it.

I do have to commend the staff. We left our computer in the room when we left, and they called us to come and reclaim it. The housekeeper was very kind and gracious as was the owner. Pacific City wasn't a high point on our trip up the coast, however.

They offered a small refigerator and microwave. It was easy to control the temperature. Basic cable channels and T.V. Overall affordable. They changed our towels daily and promptly replaced the fridge that didn't work.
Old bed sheets, thin walls, loud tenants above us (one night), a faint smell of smoke. No bathtub. Not the best place for children.

The hotel room was adequate. It had two sinks which was nice and a king bed. It was definitely outdated.
The price was higher than an econolodge, but the facilities worse. The toiletries provided were sparse, the towels were mismatched and the bed was painfull.

It was a place to stay.

It was big enough for our family and they were not sticklers about us having extra kids come an extra night.

We really loved everything about it and had a great time. Loved that it had a Bistro and wonderful restaurants and shops nearby. Geoff was very accomodating to us and took us on a tour of the new Bistro even though it wasn't open at the time...very sweet!
The phone was not working in room 17 and I don't think the volume on the remote works. Possibly making the ice more accessible...very minor not a big deal!

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel for under the price of one night at locations close by. Very cozy room...our king bed was extremely comfortable. Beach is a short distance away with wonderful restaurants, pubs and shops nearby. The Pacific City Inn had an amazing, classy Bistro and the owners were very friendly and accomodating to us!

Location to beach.
Comfort, quality, food, peacefulness.

We weren't very happy and left 1 day early.

Very comfortable beds and a great restaurant/bar.
Very outdated and needs remodeling.

Hotel was clean and very comfortable, but looks to not have been updated since the 60s. Other than being old, it was great. The bed was very nice and the owner was super friendly. They also really do have the best restaurant in town. If you don't feel like the fanciness of the bistro, you can get the full menu in the charming little bar next door. I highly recommend this place as long as you can get over how outdated it is. more
