Hotel Guest Reviews of the Oasis Cancun All-inclusive

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was nice. The city bus is not far from the front door. 1 dollar is all you need to get to the local beach or mall
The comforters had mildew food service was HORRIBLE no organization. I called the front desk and no one ever picked up the phone. Check in was a 30 minute wait.

I did not like the idea of only a few restaurants open during a certain period of time.

Breakfast wasn't bad , lunch could get by, dinner had not much selection.
I had 5 waste baskets catching water from the ceiling for 2 of my 3 day stay. Didn't dare plug anything in.

It's Mexico, so you have to come here without the same expectations that you might have in America, Europe, Asia, or just about anywhere else. I was still disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. For the cost of these rooms, and its location in Cancun, the quality was clearly below standard across the board. The rooms were musty, the sheets smelled from tobacco. Towels were thinned out and old with stains and the front desk counted them out when I requested more - as if I was going to steal their precious garage sale bargains. The lighting didn't work in one room. An electrical outlet was open with its wire guts hanging out. The toilet had a slow leak, would turn out throughout the night to refill itself. With the exception of the pizza place, the restaurants appear to all be cooking out of the same kitchen. Consequently, they are very slow. Lines are long and those who have seating, go through at least two drinks prior to any food showing up (i.e., the drink service was good, albeit, tap beer in plastic 12oz cups or seriously fortified white or red wine akin to a cooler sans carbonation.) The buffet is old, stale and just a mess. The crowd is pressed to the buffet lines and their fingerprints are in all the foods, literally. If you're looking for a great party place, are used to dorm food, this may be right for you. However, if you're planning to return to your room sober and actually care about comfort I strongly recommend that you avoid this place. ...read more

It was in Mexico and that is it.
Service was poor, no bottled water in room, all included but had to pay for drinking water in room. A joke.

It was not a relaxing experience. There was only one bar that was located in the lobby and there was not enough staff to keep up with the # of people at the hotel. We had to ask for bottled water for our room and it took until the next morning to get it and they only gave us 1 bottle as complimentary and you had to buy the rest. We expected an all inclusive resort but yet you had to pay for water in a country that you cannot drink the water. ...read more

Great value. Food and beverages were of good quality and were plenty.
They should have more security.

Beautiful grounds.
Under staffed, no poolside service, no reservations for dinner.

This hotel is what you paid for, this was my 4th time to Cancun and was by far the cheapest trip. The rooms were clean, food was decent, the sun shone, the ocean was beautiful, overall it wasn't a bad trip. All restaurants and bars were under staffed, long lines for everything, no poolside drink service, activities were almost non-existent, front desk wasn't very helpful, nothing that made the trip unbearable just not what I have experienced at nicer more expensive hotels. ...read more

I loved the food, cleanliness, kindness and respect from the staff.
I also loved the pool, the view of the ocean and the hotel activities.
I didn't like how people were complaining about anything on internet and nothing is true. This is my second stay at the hotel and hopefully not last.

Hotel is a beautiful place for romantic couples, families and party goers. I loved everything at the hotel, rooms are very nice. Staff respectful 100%. Pool is one in a million. Location of the hotel is perfect away from Downtown and easy to get to downtown. Food is awesome, many choices. Sushi restaurant in their many bars. Perfect for a beautiful vacation. I recommend this hotel for everyone. ...read more

Price and staff
Beach had rocks & was difficult to access & enjoy

The all inclusive Oasis was a bargain for the price of $88.00 per day. We were allowed to visit the Oasis viva with the Oasis bracelet, and they had a good beach. Because of the bargain prices the hotel with pack tourist.
