Totel manager and employees were very nice.
The room was dated and the didn't appear to be very clean. The lobby bar was also closed quite early for a Friday night.

The location is excellent.
At best this is a 3 star property. The carpet, furniture, and window shades in the room were all covered in stains. Window was broken and unable to close or lock.

It appears the property was once a trendy spot, but property management has not maintained or updated for many years. Also, there was no valet and no parking, so we had to park in a public lot and it ended up costing $60 plus lugging our bags half a block at night.

The lobby area was interesting. Free wifi. Good location close to Ocean Drive.
Carpets are filthy in the rooms and smell like mouldy water damage. The air conditioner doesn't work properly to regulate the temperature and is extremely noisy. Resort fee is a scam. Breakfast was pitiful, nothing fresh. Only double beds offered.

This hotel is not properly rated as a 4 star hotel. Resort fees should only be paid at resorts. At this hotel, the amenities were pitiful. I don't mind an old building, but this one is not well kept. Conveniences, such as shampoo, we're not replaced even though they were used. The shower didn't have a door or curtain, so the bathroom became drenched after a shower. Great location to the beach, but not on noisy Ocean Drive so it was possible to get some sleep. The staff was very accommodating, allowing us to check out a couple of hours later so that we could go to the beach before we left.
The sound proofing on the rooms was poor. It was easy to hear people in the hallway and adjacent rooms. The room itself was a little on the small side, but it didn't matter much since you probably aren't spending a lot of time in the room.

Happy hour with free bud lights was a bonus, except for bud light as a drink choice.

Rooms and hallways are more like a 3 star level or lower. Valet parking is inconvenient.

Room was disgusting. Stains everywhere. Hotel website suggested that parking was available but in reality guests have to find their own parking on the street. If you are looking for a quiet vacation this is not the place to stay.

the customer service here is impeccable. Benny John and Justin were fabulous! Every question was met with a smile and prompt response. We really felt like valued guest.
The carpets definitely needed to be cleaned. The outdoor pool was a bit on the dingy side as well. But the common areas were very well kept and our room was pretty clean as well.

The hotel was literally one block from the beach. It was bright white and catered to its guest. The room was a very nice size too
