HORRIBLE customer service the lady at night was rude and tried to overcharge me! Nice area, but disgusting motel. BED BUGS! I woke up with red little bumps all over me! They could not pay me to stay again!

The cleanliness and the modern decorative feel.
The mattresses were uncomfortable.

I cant remember her name but she works the very late shift and she wears glasses with short hair. She took care of me and she was very personable.

The location is good.
I truly didn't care for the air quality in the room from when I first walked in; stale, musty, malodorous.

I did not stay here. From the initial shock of the air quality, to seeing floors of this type ("wood-effect laminate flooring"), to seeing there was no shampoo/conditioner/coffee/iron (any of the normal amenities you'd consider to find in a motel from as far back as the 80s or 70s), to seeing the state of the one 'bath' towel (if you'd consider it that - not only small but thin and looked to be 10 years old). I then noticed there was no fridge. I could have sworn their site said the room had a fridge, but in going back to look, I now can't find it. Nonetheless, not all rooms have fridges (just fyi). I asked the lady at the desk about them, and she let me know rooms with fridges cost a few dollars more. In thinking about the smell and the 'bath' towel, I asked if I could cancel. She obviously wasn't very happy with that request, and told me curtly she'll need my id, my cc, and 10 minutes of my time (I thought she was going to rip my head off, but alas, she bit her tongue). I had stayed at a Ramada Limited in East Richardson a month back for $20 less and it was what a hotel room should be. Perhaps their Deluxe Studio rooms are better? I ended up just staying up all night 'cause apparently all the hotels in Addison are either not worth the cost of one-night's sleep or reviews are as bad as this one. The cheapest I found with decent reviews was $69/night, but it was already 8pm and wasn't going to pay $5/hr for sleep. Note to self: Read review comments! Don't just look at the ratings. The one review here said it had roaches and gave it a 10 rating...? Unsure how the ratings work, but read the reviews! But also bear in mind my Ramada Limited stay had some poor review comments too, so a lot of times it may just be the room or type of room you get. That said, I think we need a better system for reviews. more

There are baby cockroaches in the bathroom that need to be taken care, The front door has a gap and you can see from inside and outside. but for these two, the room is very nice and clean. Location is good.

The low price and the cleanliness of the room, bed, linen, and bathroom.
No mini-fridge and no microwave.

I enjoyed my overnight stay at the Motel 6 - Addison. For a very low price, I was not disappointed to not have a mini-fridge and microwave; more importantly, I did greatly appreciate the cleanliness and very quite setting.

Location, low-level of noise within the hotel and the surroundings, nearby dinning options.
They did not clean my room 110 one day of my stay.

Good price/value for the area.
