Welcome to the Mondrian, A Morgans Hotel
A sensational pool with views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, and stylish rooms with plasma TVs and iPod docks make Mondrian, a Morgans Hotel, a chic choice for Priceline guests.
The Mondrian is designed to evoke a hip version of "Sleeping Beauty's castle" with its mood-lit lobby and floating staircase, plus its sweeping views of Biscayne Bay. The 300 spacious rooms are spread out on 15 floors and come with garden or bay views. Some rooms include balconies. Sleep comes easily on Egyptian cotton sheets and down duvets. The in-room entertainment is thoroughly 21st century, with plasma TVs and wireless Ipod docks. Wi-Fi is available for a surcharge. The lavish swimming pool overlooks Biscayne Bay and is surrounded by lush gardens with a labyrinth and secret pathways. Relax and catch some rays on a lounge pillow, and enjoy a cocktail or light fare from the poolside bar. There's also a separate kids'pool and play area, and jet skis and water sports equipment are available for rent. Billed as the only bayside destination for watching the sunset over the Miami skyline, the Sunset Lounge is an atmospheric indoor/outdoor cocktail lounge with an adult "sandbox" and "kissing corners." The hotel also has a Latin fusion restaurant, a fitness center, a full-service day spa and its own marina. Valet parking is available for an additional charge.
Nestled in a secluded area on the west side of Miami Beach overlooking Biscayne Bay, the Mondrian is still close to the sands and clubs of exciting South Beach, ten blocks away. Flamingo Park is two blocks from the hotel. Park Beach and the Lincoln Road Mall are one mile away.
If you're a lover of spacious boutique rooms and breathtaking pools, you'll find what you're looking for at the Mondrian.

Hands down, best traveling experience to date. Cool happy our, super nice staff, extremely cleanly, and breathtakingly gorgeous. What more could I ask for really? The walk to the beach wasn't too bad and there were plenty of alternatives. Even the other guests were fun. (We were able to make as much drunken noise as we wanted without any complaints or problems..not that we're rowdy, but it was vacation and someone's 23rd birthday) I'll definitely be staying at the Mondrian. Booking through Priceline and having that awesome rate just made it even sweeter. ...

I would stay there again. Especially if I plan on hanging out at the pool. But if you want to be close to the beach, unless you don't mind cabbing around, there are better locations.

The entrance was a little obscured and easy to miss as it was right at the T-junction. The building number "1100" was only obscured. Upon driving up to the porch, the valet staff informed me that parking at the hotel is by valet only and parking charges was $37 per night. As I was alone and had to dropped off my bags, I decided to use their services. The lobby and public places was clean and nicely decorated. The staff at the reception were very polite and was able to offer good suggestions on places to go to. Check-in was straightforward and fast, and lift lobby was just a few steps from the lobby. Upon entering the 1 bedroom suite, I was surprised by the size and decor. There was a kitchen with a small dining table, along with a large living room, a couch that can be converted to a bed, and a separate bedroom with attached bathroom. There is also a toilet near the kitchen. The suite is tastefully decorated except for a large painted picture of a lady's face with big eyes and it could look scary and hideous at night if the lights were off. Other than the rusty kettle, the amenities are great. There was also a iphone dock with radio and fine speakers. The shower fittings were nice too. I love the shampoo provided. I found much cheaper parking at the public garage at $15 cap for 24 hours pre-paid. I asked about charges from 7pm till the next morning 7am but both the valet staff and staff did not have the answer. They could only say that the system will calculated. I only saw a board stating the parking charges to be $24 for day parking and $37 for overnight when I waited at the couches next to the porch. I decided to just park at the public garage. When I checked out after 3 nights, I was charged an additional overnight parking. I showed my receipts for public garage and the hotel staff returned saying that the valet recorded that someone asked for the car on the 2nd day, which was obviously wrong. The hotel staff waived it for me though. Overall, good hotel! ...
