Hotel Guest Reviews of the Misty Harbor Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I loved the private balcony and walking path to the venue. The pool is located in a full sunny area and looked very inviting (although it wasn't opened yet for the season). Cute adirondack chairs outside to relax in. Clean room and plenty of hot water.
The pool was not opened yet for the season and it was the weekend of June 10. It should have been ready. Coffee pot needs updating. There are lots of loud motorcycles in the area, and at the hotel, which woke us up early. Quiet folks beware.

location to area attractions & water (Lake Winnipesaukee) - even though it was too cold to enjoy the beach.
I was certainly misled by the Priceline.com description of the hotel - which claimed that *all* guest rooms featured a full kitchen, private patio, and pull-out sofa. NOPE! Our room did not feature any of those. Also, no indoor pool as described.

I was certainly dissapointed by the lack in full kitchen. That was a key search criteria for us as we were donating time for a fundraiser and had brought along food - which we were unable to store nor cook. The eggs and chicken went bad in the car and we ended up stuck paying for lunches and dinners both days even though we had already planned to eat in-room. Not too happy about that. ...read more

Very nice staff, nice pool, great hot tub
I asked the hotel staff to repair the TV fixture. The room could have used a couple of stuff chairs. The only chairs were wooden ones for sitting at the table.

great restaurant for Chinese food - TAIPEI OSAKA, in Guilford. The motel is 15 mins from Gunstock Mountain.

The rooms were very outdated and dirty feeling. One of the beds was help up by a two by four. Lots of updating needs to be done.

I would never stay here again. It felt dirty and outdated. Not worth the money at all.

Location for our event was close to ideal.

We arrived at 4pm, the front desk was closed despite our check-in papers saying to not check in before 4pm. Two calls to their after-hours number seeking help were not returned. We eventually found our room key in an after hours box after waiting 45 minutes for the return calls that never came. The room was nice enough with two queen sized beds, but the pillows felt like something you'd get at the dollar store. We bought our own pillows for the 2nd night. When we signed our registration card the next day, they had us checking out that day despite our papers indicating a two night stay. They agreed to let us have the 2nd night at the same price as the first. ...read more
