Hotel Guest Reviews of the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location was perfect for the sights and activities we planned. The lobby and room were inviting and attractive, the front desk staff and bellmen were attentive and helpful. Great bathroom!
Wifi in rooms was an extra charge but you can have free wifi in the lobby

The hotel is a classic, yet modernized hotel. It is clean and friendly. Not the most friendly for little children.
Not having a bathtub with a child makes bathing difficult. However the shower was new and their was a rain (shower head above) and wand (detachable) shower heads. The elevators are old, slow and tight but functional. Rooms were tight, but typical.

Fantastic staff and a very good experience.

Location, quality of room, staff
The quality of the TV picture was very poor and there should be free wi-fi.

Charming historical hotel. Convenient location to some of Chicago's best shopping, dining, and the lake shore!
Be prepared to ride antique elevators. If you don't like small spaces and meeting new people up close, request a lower floor and take the stairs.

This is a historic hotel which has recently been renovated; rooms are attractive and quiet, bed is comfortable, shower has a hand held attachment which was useful. First floor bar and restaurant have large windows, which are great for people watching.
The parking is $65 per night, which is high even for that part of Chicago. You can find parking for about $45 per night within a few blocks. Allow 30 minutes for the valet to retrieve your car.

Great location steps from Michigan Avenue shopping, restaurants and entertainment - also close to the beach on Lake Michigan. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant - food was very good, but service was a bit slow if you're in a hurry.

Staff was very accommodating. Front desk and doormen were all very pleasant and helpful in all our needs.
Price of parking seemed a little high....after we noticed you could park for $42 directly across the street from the hotel.

Perfect location in between Lakeshore and Michigan Ave. Easy in and out for traveling to all the major areas of Chicago. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The location one block off Michigan Avenue and two blocks from Rush Street and the beach is incredible. Historic hotel with beautiful renovation. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Lobby bar is inviting and relaxing.
Valet parking is $65 a night, but standard for Chicago. Best bet would be to cab ride or train it in to the city.
