Hotel Guest Reviews of the Mercure Paris La Défense Grande Arche

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. To tell you the truth I expected a bit more from a hotel rated as a 4 star. At best, this is a 3 star hotel by my standard. I work for a hotel company, this would not pass for a 4 start at that company
1- The Room types we booked was not was delivered 2- The hotel ran out of irons so for the 2 day spent there, I was force to wear wrinkled shirt and pants while meeting friends in Paris.

The section of the hotel were placed in appeared to be dated. I asked three queen rooms but was place in rooms with three beds and in some cases in rooms with 4 single beds. In one of the rooms the phone did not work in the room and when we called for service they told us that could not get someone to us.

Friendly staff, decent location, clean and well furnished for an affordable and reasonable price. What's not to like?

The room was comfortable and well furnished, with new furnishings. The hotel staff are friendly and keep the hotel very clean. Complimentary breakfast was good. The hotel is located right next to the RER A line, which gets you into Central Paris in 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend as it is a great value for the money.

Nothing.
Location was misrepresented as in LA Defense, It is not that area. Buffet fifty 50 euro for bread and ham.

This hotel was among the lowest cost alternatives and supposed to be in the city of Paris. It is in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris and subject to large additional charges on Taxi, RER Train, and Metro Train, because it is not in a city of Paris. The hotel is in a somewhat run down area of town, but
only acceptable at this price point. The staff was helpful in finding my way around Paris, for that I am thankful. ...read more

Could hear trains at odd hours.

Hotel is right next to RER station, quick train ride to sites (25cents more), clean facilities and friendly staff.

Close to the train with easy access to Paris
Very few restaurant after 8pm. This is a business area and they close around 7pm.

Clean large room with AC and free WiFi. The hotel is next to the RRC train with quick link to central Paris, about 5 to 10 minutes.

The hotel was right next to a metro station, so it was very easy to get into paris.
There are few food options around this area later than 6pm.

This was a very nice place with a room that was like a studio apartment, with 2 rooms divided by sliding doors allowing for a living room with a counter and TV and a bedroom with a separate TV. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a nice shower that felt very clean.
