The down stairs lobby which has access directly to outside was a bit sketchy, allowing anyone not staying at hotel to sit.

Nice staff
Room was loud. Fire alarm went off at 11 pm. Had to leave out room.

Loved the hotel... and then we had to leave our room at 11 pm when someone pulled the fire alarm. That was extremely unpleasant. And the hotel didn't offer any compensation for our discomfort.

The doorman Mike was extremely helpful.
The area where the shower floor liner sat on the tub surface was not clean.

The people at the hotel where very knowledgable about the area and any activities that were going on at the time we stayed. directions to events were a no brainer for the staff.

Location, service, and the concierge Mark!Could walk to fabulous restaurants and Quincy market/Faneuil Hall. Will definitely stay there next time!

The public spaces were up to date and welcoming.
Our room was not cleaned and we did not receive new towels due to the storm. It was understandable, but I thought they should have provided towels at the very least.

Good, central location. Pretty views.

Perfect location on the water and right next door to the aquarium! Walking distance to everything! Amazing staff!

Great location, friendly staff.
Terrible bed, extremely noisy.

On the surface this is a nice place, in an excellent location, and the staff was friendly. However there are several negatives. The bed I slept in was awful. The noise from the lobby atrium could clearly be heard in the room at all hours. The hotel puts a $30 charge on your credit card for incidentals, does not inform you, and takes several days to issue a refund. There are old mini fridges with the electrical components removed in each room that the hotel calls "silent coolers" but they do not keep anything cold unless you load them with ice. Do not stay here unless you can afford to upgrade to the 6th or 7th floors which are sealed off from the lobby atrium and much quieter. ...read more

Rooms had a great view, close to South Station and the pool, hot tub and deck were lovely.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location, close to south station, the children's museum and the North End with yummy Italian restaurants.
