Hotel Guest Reviews of the Chicago Marriott At Medical District/Uic

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Friendly staff, spacious room with fridge.
Parking is high, but that is to be expected for the area. While this hotel is in the McCormick place zone, it is not very convenient to McCormick place. Hotel has shuttle within 1 mile but MP is over 3 mile so expect $20+taxi each way.

The cost per room was excellent. Never stayed in the medical district before, but it was a fun area. Loved Little Italy area. Had to take a taxi a bit more than when in the Gold Coast area, bit that was fine.
Slow breakfast service Sunday morning. Food was a bit cold.

Rooms were great. Love Marriott beds. Staff was great

The personality of the bus driver.
Tiny room. Paper-thin walls (doors slamming all night, loud conversations), exorbitant parking prices, bar closed at 10:30 PM on a Saturday night after a Bull's game, rude manager, empty vending machine, elevator reeked of marijuana, no pool, awful view.

Parking fee per day is extremely high, especially considering its location.
