Hotel Guest Reviews of the Maritim Hotel Berlin

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Close to Tiergarten Park. We explored the area west of the hotel and found a wonderful Italian restaurant for dinner. Very quiet area.

It's in walking distance to the 'Potsdamer Platz' and so right in the center of Berlin. It was clean and has a nice interior. The wellness area with pool and sauna which is included in the price was awesome.
The parking fees are very high (24 per day) and you don't really have the chance to park cheaper in the streets surrounding the hotel. Also the price for the breakfast (20) was too high, you get it much cheaper outside the hotel.

Dont forget that you have to pay 5% of your whole bill additional as a 'stay over night fee'. That's new in bigger cities in Germany since 01.01.2014

New and clean building.
Very quiet location, somewhat remote area with only embassies surrounding the hotel. Not a typical city hotel, but more a conference hotel.

Quiet, spacious and classic hotel.

Great location in neighborhood of embassies, close to bus stop and big public transport station.
Hotel staff at front desk refused to give us copy of the form we had to fill and sign at check-in.

Hotel is big with 500 rooms in nice and quiet neighborhood. Standard room is 30 square meters, room was clean. Concierge was kind and helpful.

Cleanliness of the hotel, not to far from some main attractions.
The beds slide apart because they are two twin beds stuck together, the tv's are out of date, and the pillows on the beds are flat. Park price is outrageous. Also the pool is way to cold.

Very clean hotel, staff tries to be accommodating and friendly but they really don't know English well. The location is kind of away from everything, but not to far where you can take taxi or bus to get to main attractions. We found it cheaper to utilize city taxi rather than bus.

Very new and modern hotel. Got upgraded to an executive suite without even asking! Too bad we only planned a one-night stay!
After arriving home, we received a bill for a EUR 2.73 city tax. When we checked out, we had received a receipt with no charges due. Do they do this to everyone?

Although an excellent hotel, it's a little out of the way. We walked, but it's about 1.1 km from the Potsdamer Platz station.
