Family Traveling with Young Children

I wasn't able to use much of what the Inn offered due to my time constraints however, the one breakfast I had was generous portioned omelet (I had to ask Pat to make it two egg as I was supposed to be at a breakfast meeting that morning!) and plenty of coffee! My room was pleasant but then I'm used to living in residences that are typically a century+ old, meaning, I'm used to slanted floors; I count it as part of the charm of an older building. Inn was a little out of my way for my purposes but it is near some seriously lovely scenery. Noted interesting antique shops nearby as well. About 15 minutes north of Peterborough, half hour from Dublin. ...

Family Traveling with Teens
The Owner- Inn keeper made us feel at home and like family. Each breakfast was carefully made and presented on time with pleasant conversation and impeccable timing. I will happily recommend this Inn to anyone looking for a memorable experience.

The hotel itself is an historic building. The interior is worn out, squeaky beds, poor cleaning. The owner is obviously not interested in offering any comfort to guests. The breakfast was fine but that is all the positive that I can say about this place. It can in no way be compared to the Hancock Inn where I stay normally. ( No rooms available then) The Hancock inn is a fantastic place with great rooms, comfort and great meals. When I booked the Maplehurst Inn, I was given the impression that is was a hotel with the same comfort and attitude based on the price. That was very far from the reality. If you love your life, don't book this hotel. Go to the Hancock Inn. That's worth every dollar. ...
