Hotel Guest Reviews of the Luxor Hotel And Casino

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The pool was nice. Very large with plenty of room to be in the water.
Outdated, run down, dark, view of roof tops (no view), no coffee maker or fridge, paid for king but bed clearly wasn't a king, not enough towels, room service came at 3:45pm, toilet wouldn't flush paper, water damage in bathroom. Poor conditions.

Multiple choices for eating and varied prices, discounts for inhouse food and entertainment. Near the airport so lower cab fares. Nice clean quiet, comfortable room. Starbucks. Good entertainment and exhibit offerings. Loved Carrot Top!

The room smelled like mildew, shower was clogged, the fan in the bathroom was broke and made a loud annoying noise.

It was close to entertainment scheduled for the evening.
The reservation booked was not available in the hotel's system, causing a long wait. The bathroom was dingy.

Waited in check in line for about 20 minutes. I had 2 rooms and they were able to put us on a higher floor, west facing, close to each other. 1 room did not have adequate A/C and they moved us to a north facing room on the same floor with fine A/C. They gave a $50 buffet comp when I requested for having a room change. Housekeeping was not completed one day, we had to call several times. It was clean before we were back in around midnight. Good value, the resort charge is a rip off and doesn't include spa entrance. Initial price I booked was $--/night. With resort charge and tax it was almost $---/ night. Still reasonable for the location. ...read more

Room feels nice, and the cafe had a fantastic Salmon dish at a great price.
Gym wasn't open 24hrs, staff operating it was irritating and rude. The hotel is a casino primarily, and as such is a maze designed to make you lose track of time and responsibility. Navigating it is tedious, tiresome, and time-consuming.

Do not eat at the bar-it's overpriced and the male bartenders do not treat other males with any courtesy. Expect to wait in line at the front desk 10-15min.
