Welcome to the Leamington Hotel
Reasonable rates, free airport and cruise terminal shuttles and access to public transportation are the draws at the non-smoking Leamington Hotel.
A block from Bayfront Park, the Leamington Hotel occupies a historic building dating from the 1920s. The 82 non-smoking rooms have streamlined decor and modern amenities like TVs with cable channels and free Wi-Fi connections. Beds are triple-sheeted for extra comfort. Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the lobby for whenever you need a pick-me-up. There are free daily shuttles to the cruise ship terminal and the airport.
The Leamington Hotel is a half-mile from the American Airlines Arena, so this is a convenient spot for basketball fans or music lovers. It's also an option if you're shipping out, as the Port of Miami is a mile away. The First Street Station of Miami's Metromover monorail is a block away. South Beach and its art-deco architecture are five miles east. Miami International Airport is seven miles west.
The location "close to a lot of shopping" is a selling point for the Leamington Hotel, as is the "helpful" staff and the "nice" lobby.

Just needed a room for 1 night and with HEAT coming 2 town everything showed SOLD OUT.This place is a nightmare.Homeless people were coming in and loitering in the lobby.I thought I could stay almost anywhere, and have, but DON`T stay here.Sleep at the airport,it will be a better value.Shame on Priceline for even carrying this Hotel and listing it as a 1 STAR.It is a decent location.Hotel needs to do some remodeling. It looks to NEVER been remodeled..I wouldn`t recommend this to my worse enemy.SORRY,just the way it is.. ...

It says continental breakfast! this consisted of Bread, CAKE and coffee, that is not a continental breakfast. The place is unkempt and needs maintenance. No phone in the room and the lights did not work properly. If this hotel could be jacked up a bit it is in a good location.

Hotel has a great location that is the only thing going for itself. Not very clean and the room smelled like dust and mold. Heard the noise from the street and the lights from outside was not blocked by the broken vertical blinds. This was the worst hotel I've ever been in. Thought this was going to be like "stepping back in time" because the hotel is old with man that operates the metal gate in the elevator. This is not the place to experience an old hotel. Not glamorous just dirty. ...

We hated everything about this hotel. There were bums sleeping on the door step of the hotel. It was absolutely DISGUSTING inside and we were scared to touch anything!!!!!!!! The bathroom in the room had to be locked from the outside otherwise the door would not stay closed. We did everything we could to find another hotel, but all were booked. We slept in our clothes and hoodie sweatshirts for fear of the bed - and that is after we doused it with Lysol and shower towels. Worst experience staying at any hotel ever. The staff barely spoke English. The building stunk. The elevator was tiny, old, rickety and manually operated by a door-man only until 12pm. ...
