friendly, helpful and gracious staff. room was large with ample kitchenette. large screen tv. heating worked well. very comfortable beds allow for a good nights sleep.

Great hotel, with great staff in a great location near the Metro and near McGill. I definitely recommend Le Cantlie.

Excellent value for what you receive. Great location, low price, fantastic rooms, that are clean and quiet. Great employees, that always greet you when you walk in the hotel. The sushi restaurant in the hotel lobby is fantastic as well.

Awesome value! The hotel is centrally located and our regular, two-bed room was HUGE, like a one-bedroom apartment, with a full kitchen! Sure, the decor is a bit outdated, but it's very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The rooftop deck and pool were a very nice surprise. The valet parking is $23 a night, but so are other parking lots around the area.

I really have only good things to say about my stay. There was a sinkhole in front of the hotel closing the street and I got hopelessly lost while driving around in ever growing circles. I called the hotel and the person behind the desk was able to patiently talk me to the parking lot even though I was touchy and difficult at that time. The location, for me, was perfect - it was within walking distance of all that I came to see and was close to the metro if I wanted it. I would return. ...

The hotel is in a great area. Staff were great. Rooms were OK, but I did not like their beds, which needs improvements because they had mattress that were bumpy.
