Hotel Guest Reviews of the Las Brisas Acapulco

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great views and lovely property!
The hotel when booking with Priceline said breakfast included? Only served coffee and rolls???

Las Brissas is a well established brand in Mexico , but they ask you for a 20 staff gratuity when checking in and then automatically convert that at a rate of 1.32 pesos per dollar. When I asked them to change some dollars they gave me 1.35 pesos per dollar? I know that this is a revenue opertinity for the hotel, but this is a premium brand hotel? I would think they would want to treat their guests better than that? Property is well maintained and staff is very attentive! ...read more

The staff and the hotel itself are excellent, very peaceful and quiet, ideal for couples (I went in a low season, please take this into account)
The only thing the hotel doesn't have is beach, there is no sand, however it has a beach club with access to the ocean pool and regular pool. The drinks and food are little expensive but you can bring what ever you want to your room (not a biggy)

I spent an amazing vacation there. The hotel charges you 20USD per day per tips and really you don't have to tip anybody, the service is excellent and the hotel is so peacefully, ideal for couples or people who want to get rest.

The architecture and the staff. A lovely place to stay.
Wifi limitations. Only available in lobby and didn't have a strong signal while there.

Great hotel. Can't wait to go back to stay longer.

The entire staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable, including the lobby staff, the room maids and services and the restaurants. Our room (#447) has an outstanding view of the Acapulco Bay and was VERY comfortable. We felt VERY safe and secure.
NOOOOOO!

The hotel is unique in that the "cabanas" are terraced on a hillside and each cabana has it's own pool, or a shared pool. You can see that EVERY day they are painting, trimming the trees, flowers, etc. and are very contientious of keeping the entire grounds in good condition. They had even freshly painted the entrance, which, with their pink and white theme, was very beautiful. We WILL recommend this resort to anyone, especially anyone who likes a romantic theme. We will go back, not sure WHEN, but it is for sure!!!! ...read more

They added $20 per day per room for tips without letting us know ahead of time. We tipped for our entire stay without knowing this.

Incredibly good service.
They advertise that all tips are included then add $20 per day per room at the end of your stay.

Bungalow/casita, private pool, continental breakfast and friendly staff!
Sense of arrival left much to be desired. Lobby is very dated. Internet connectivity was very weak.

Great hotel with a need of a renovation. The overall exterior look of the hotel was very dated. The guest rooms are very spacious and offer private/semi private pools which kids love! The private pool and beach area were just OK. We were hoping to have a beach atmosphere, but instead hotel offered 1 regular pool and 2 beach water pools, which closed at 6:00 pm (too early for daylight savings period). The customer service is great. All the staff was very attentive and eager to assist. ...read more
