Family Traveling with Young Children
The hotel was dirty and overall disgusting. The room was never cleaned by the staff, they gave us new towels, but never made beds or cleaned anything. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned by the previous guests. They were obviously giving drinks to underage girls in order to start the hot body contest they put on at their bar. Just trashy and gross. I will never return and suggest if you out of your first year of college you would do the same. ...

The hotel was completely horrible. It was not clean and staff were very unfriendly. We visited over spring break and vacancy was limited in the area. Staff was well aware of this situation and did little to accommodate your needs. My children were swimming in the pool and located human fesses in the pool. The floors of the room were very dirty, the water smelled very badly. Overall, we could not check-out of here quick enough. It was a terrible experience.

The room wasn't fully cleaned. There was a bottle of cleaning products left in the bathroom, dirty toilet pater on the bathroom floor and the shower head was broken. The hotel bar had live music that didn't stop from the time we checked in until past 1am.

I feel very ripped off that you recommended this hotel. I watched the virtual tour on the computer, and the place is a hundred times over unlike the tour. It's filthy dirty. I stayed because we had to. It was spring break, and there were no other places to stay. Once I got there, I saw the condition of the place, I began calling every place on the island, and all were unavailable. I am a 70 year old grandmother with my 14 year old grandchild, and her mother, and it was supposed to be a great time, and it turned into a nightmare. It's a hangout for every kind of undisirable you can imagine. Not safe for a young girl, or an older woman for that matter! ...

We will probably never return to the Ft. Myers area again. Way too busy and not appropriate for a family vacation.
