We had a beautiful view outside and the rooms were quiet. We are thinking about bringing our extended family back for our next Wild West vacation.

Hotel was a very good value. It is an older place that has had some up dates. Rooms were very clean. Across the street from the Boot Hill grave yard and very close to town. The hotel has an outdoor fire pit and they supply the marshmallows and sticks.

The ONLY positives thatwe found at the MOTEL--don't let them trick you into labeling this as ANY kind of hotel--was the fact that the room was clean and it was very close to Old Tombstone. Aside from THAt, the receptionest - male- was very dead pan. He did not volunteer any info except how to get to our room. We had to ask if and when and WHERE breakfast was served. Any tours info was picked up by my wife at their book shelf containing tours offered. I asked a week before hand (when I "won" the bid here from --Name Your Price on priceline) when I telephoned the motel and asked for a ground floor beause I am disabled and can not walk up steps. When we arrived at the parking lot, we found that the first floor was attainable by a flight of stairs. Later we found a wrap around ramp that got us to our room without using the stairs. The fact is, the guy KNEW that I was disabled and failed to alert us to the ramp. The ramp is of no use in the morning if you want to go down for breakfast. The best thing is to either walk the stairs leading to th (small) restuarant, walk down the hill and past the check-in office, OR drive down the same hill to the cafe. The breakfast consists of--5 items on the menu for free. Any made to order eggs or additional items will cost more. The first day we got there late at closing time (10 am) but they allowed us in. The breakfast was good that morning. Two days later we went early and found that the itemswhich they didn't charge you were premade--thus cold when we received them. The onle exception to this were the eggs that were made to order and were additionaly charged. The air conditioner was a wall model that did not work very well. The T.V. or the provider service only provided local chanels that were clear during the evening and night. During the day reception was snowyan d extremely poor! Save yourself a LOT of headbashing and pay for a decent HOTEL, not a back breaking, hot, and gruddy cafe motel like THIS one! ...
