Hotel Guest Reviews of the Lafayette Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was very large and nice, and the staff is fantastic.
It was very loud inside the room--streetcar and traffic, you could even hear people talking outside. I didn't sleep very well while here. Not the fault of the hotel itself, but something to consider if you're a light sleeper.

Historical and beautiful.
Bathroom was not very clean. there were rust stains and missing drain cap in the shower.

It was nice overall, has history to it which was nice and catches the essence of its city.

Very spacious bed.
Small TV that's too far away from bed, 5 bucks for WiFi.

For the price I paid, the Lafayette Hotel was a good place to stay the night. The room was nice and clean, although a bit big and the TV set was a bit too small and too far away from the bed. Also, the WiFi option was 5 bucks, and the hotel restaurant way too expensive.
