La Quinta Inn & Suites Port Charlotte

Our stay at this hotel was only for 1 day but we used the pool and hot tub and were very clean with clean towels. The hotel and our room was very clean and decorated nicely. The staff were very funny and helpfull. It was a nice suprise in the morning to have a hot breakfast. Thanks for a lovely stay..

THe location was great for traveling to other southwest Florida cities. The staff was helpful, but except for receiving clean towels every morning the housekeeping was poor. The linens were supposed to be changed every three days and even after asking for clean linens on my fifth night at the hotel they were never changed during my six night stay.The room didn't appear to have been vacuumed during my stay, but the bathtub and sink were cleaned daily. ...read more

good stop for price,,, great pool area and sauna, breakfast same nothing special the place is very clean.

Check in was easy, room was clean, location is great. The workout room is very small, but descent. There was a k9 show and dog show in town and there were dogs everywhere. While I understand and appreciate the pet friendly hotels, I do not appreciate being woken up at all hours by dogs barking and running in the halls. The dog next to us barked for 3 solid hours and the staff didn't bother calling or visiting the room to talk to the owner. ...read more

My first impression of the front desk clerk was very pleasant. When I got the the room the beds were made with comforters that were damaged and lumpy. It appeared as if someone was sleeping on the bed. The overlay that is at foot of bed had cigarette burns, quite upsetting for smoke free atmosphere. I have never stayed at a LaQuinta before but will in the future. Thank you for such a great stay. The continental breakfast was GREAT! The staff was GREAT especially the front desk, clean up crew and house cleaning staff - GREAT GREAT GREAT!

Not sure if I would stay there again. If they can't clean my room in 10 hours, then there is a problem.
