La Quinta Inn Orlando - Universal Studios

With in the first 5 minutes of being in our first room our toilet over flowed and flooded our bathroom. We switched into a new room and had bug problems. My mom's room across the hall had the same little bugs. I will not stay in that hotel again!

This location is very good for the price.

Location was great, price was reasonable, but could be lower. The hotel staff were friendly and as accommodating as can be expected. The room smelled like someone had smoked in it but was covering the smell with lysol or a similar product. The included room amenities were sub-par, internet rarely worked. The common spaces were very clean, well kept, and looked very inviting. We used the shuttle service to Universal Studios and turned out to get ripped off because the driver never showed up to the pick-up site. Not a bad place. Not quite as nice as the reviews stated. But still nice. Breakfast was on par with other chains. Parking was a little light as they had a construction trailer taking up some spots. Overall good place to stay, I just prefer to stay on International drive so I'm within walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Hotel was only minutes away from Universal and easy to get to and from the highway. Late night staff was courteous and friendly, even loaned me a pair of scissors when I needed them. Room was perfectly clean, no smells. Nice, comfortable beds, and pillows.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to Universal was very convenient, but the hotel is close enough to the park not to have to rely on the shuttle. Overall a good value for the money.
