The price. Location was a bit tricky to get to because the driveway entrance is in the back of the hotel, but certainly not inconvenient.
The decor definitely needs updating and housekeeping forgot to sweep the bathroom floor and vacuum. There was trash behind the bathroom door and crumbs on the carpet. The breakfast was mediocre. There were 2 bottles of store brand syrup for the waffles

We weren't impressed with this particular La Quinta and don't believe it deserves a high rating as we have stayed with this hotel brand before in Spartanburg for the same rate including a very nice breakfast in updated rooms.

Floors were left needed vacuuming,Front door broken, maintenance was poor. Have stayed in other La Quintas which were nice, this one would barely reach a 2 star rating.
I was initaLly remiss, but later discovered 2 $25 insurance fee. I DID NOT ORDER INSURANCE NOR HAVE I EVER IN THE PAST, I EXPECT A $ 25 CREDIT!
