The location to the venues such as the French Quarter, Bourbon St, and Jazz Fest
Our room was not cleaned on the 2nd night of our stay, the hotel then accomodated us with a free night, changed our bedding but left the rest of the room uncleaned.
The hotel is within 20 minutes of the major attractions in New Orleans and close to major expressway I-10. Outside of building is very nice and well kept as are the lobby, pool area. Hotel has free continental breakfest which is quite good and well stocked until 9a. The area has several nearby restaurants, gas stations and stores. Staff interaction was friendly. Our major disappointment was the cleaning of our room which was not done on our second night. After complaining we were given a free nights stay, upon return to the room our beds were made but nothing else was cleaned , trash was still in the room and the floor was not cleaned. We were very disappointed and complained once again to management. ...

It was close to getting anywhere, but far enough away to be able to relax in quiet. The rooms were awesome.
When using your navigation on your phone to find motel, it takes you way off course.

The hotel was clean, had comfortable beds, and the included breakfast was better than expected. Actually had eggs, bacon and sausage.
The hotel is outdated. It's not in a very nice area and not really near anything of interest.
Over all, it was a good bargain. i will try to get something closer to the French Quarter next time.

We booked for a non-smoking room, and the room we had smelled awful. It smelled like cigarette. It seemed like somebody was in the room because the TV was turned on when we got in.

Would not have stayed there and paid in advance if I knew that the first floor door at back side parking lot that opens with key card was broken and would not latch closed from inside or out. Cheesy tarp over the sign was impossible to read after dark.

When we arrived the staff was glued to their phone but did attend to checking us in out by the poolwe became alittle nervous, the music was blaring young black men in hoodies were hanging out looked like drug deal and we were not comfortable being outside

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, breakfast excellent.
Room service forgot to replenish coffee.
Overall was very good, I always look out for Baymont Inns anywhere we go.

I thought this was a great hotel, not sure why the other people are so uptight lol. Definitely an amazing hotel for the price! About a 6-7 minute drive to downtown New Orleans, I definitely recommend it!
I never did get to try the free breakfast because I couldn't wake up before 9.
