Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Quinta Inn And Suites Baltimore South/Glen Burnie

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. My room wasn't cleaned overnight and the staff at the desk didn't seem to care, I will not stay here again

Cleanliness am men ties. The gentleman who checked us on didnt believe my license was real.. yes West Virginia has been ita own state for quite sometime. No way this was a 3 star hotel. Toilet sink and tub drained slow and was backed up. Breakfast staff

Breakfast staff was rude. Alao was not told about 10 dollar charge hold for incidentals. Bed was lumpy and kept on sliding off in the middle of the night. Vwry run down hotel.

Rooms and lobby are clean. Courtesy staff. Pretty good breakfast is provided, with yogurt, self-made waffles, cereal, hot tacos, fruit (not fresh), and Seattle best coffee. Good size parking lot.
Free internet provided is a bit weak.

There are grocery and Target nearby. Very convenient next to the highway, though you need to do turnaround to get to the hotel.

The next room alarm went off at 5 am. It took the staff 30 minutes to come to the room to shut it off. The alarm went back on again after few minutes. He took another 20 minutes to come back to turn off the alarm. It was a bad experience.

The bedding was old and the sheets were worn out.

Room was more than ample sized. Comfortable bed.
Hallways were messy. Smoking evident in non smoking floors.

The staff at this hotel was excellent and tried very hard to make every facet a good one. Oscar, the hotel driver, was especially helpful and polite. Breakfast in the morning was decent, and Golds Gym access was awesome!
Some of the other types of people staying there, but the hotel can't control that! :)

Suburban location of La Quinta, 1 of 2 near BWI. This one is further out, but far nicer. I had a phenomenal stay here, and will be returning again, for sure. Free access to an AWESOME gold's gym across the street...gave me plenty to do on a business trip...and again, the hotel driver Oscar was super helpful and a genuinely nice guy. Set the tone for the entire trip.

Cheap. Free hot breakfast.
Noisy! Loud humming from hall lights. Super loud vending machines/ice machines. TV in room did not work. Breakfast was unimpressive and empty dishes remained empty throughout service.

This is a very dated old hotel with newer finishes in the rooms. Beware of the loud machines and fixtures. It's close to the major highways but in the midst of a convenient but very unappealing Baltimore suburb.
