Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Copa Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was close to where I needed to be.
Very noisy, helicopters going over all night. Just seemed grubby, carpets very dirty.

I could not park my car close to my room, and where I had to park was worrisome due to the area.

The swimming pool. Very clean and well kept.
My room was way in back away from the lobby and very far from pool and not well lit since hotel is not in a good or safe location.

Hotel has very nice pictures on line but not what you get when you arrive. The staff was very polite, but not very helpful about my room situation. Traveling alone with my daughter and would not change my room.

Location to my class and shopping access.
Front desk assistance not very helpful to solve a situation fast.

I had stayed at this location last month nd there were no problems. This time was not satisfied with service. There was only hot water available even though I called front desk it was till about 1/2 hour before issue was resolved. It was past 1 am, only rinsed, but not able to wash hair it was too late, had to get up early for class the next day, when I called front desk , they would tell me I was the one turning the hot water. Finally they went to check the line and issue was resolved. more

Location was awesome, and the lobby was very well kept. We did not get to use the pool, but pictures looked awesome!
Our room smelled very strongly of mold and there was mold/mildew in the bathroom.

The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions. Our room had an overwhelming smell of mold/mildew but it was the last room available for the night and it was late. The bathroom had some mold/mildew on the tile, but otherwise we were unable to find where the smell was coming from.
