Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge Hinesville

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Desk clerk was rude, every time I was at desk he was on phone as if I was interrupting him.Room was ok, though when we asked for towels the owner said they were locked in laundry, and didn't have any extra cups for room. breakfast sucked.

I was there to see my son in the Army who had just came back from Afganistan, my time was for him.

Leaving. The hotel was awful. It was dirty. Stains on the bedding and towels.
I did not like anything about the hotel. To start it was not what was advertised, we we're suppose to have a hot tub suit with an onsite pool. Neither were even there. The bedding was stained, we stayed for three days and it was never changed. The

Awful. Save your money. While I was there the manager came in to change the battery in out smoke alarm. He stepped on my bed with his nasty bare feet. When I called to cancel the remaining days he said that I could not get refunded the remaining money because of the low price, but my price was not based on the days I booked. It was a complete rip off and I can't believe they are allowed to run a business like that. Don't waste your money that place is disgusting. ...read more

The location was OK, but it's so close to the highway and is VERY noisy all night. The room was nice and met our needs. The beds were comfortable.
One housekeeper was very rude. The staff did not speak English very well. They did not have enough towels. One night we had no wash clothes. I accidentally hit smoking and could not get another room. There were cigarette holes in bedspreads. NOISY area.

It is next to a night club and Friday night we got no sleep. The police were there several times in the parking lot. The bar patrons park in the hotel parking lot. The rude housekeeper woke us and asked if we needed housekeeping. We asked her to return later and she said "I need to know if you need housekeeping NOW". Not being dressed, we said 'no'. She didn't return. The next day we had to call to have housekeeping come and all they did was pick up towels and leave new ones. No garbage pick up, no vacuuming, etc. We had to go get towels from them 2 of the 4 days. They had no wash clothes our last night at all and we had to go borrow from nearby family. There was no WiFi, though advertised. The TV had very few channels. ...read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious.
They did not have their sign up yet, but it was still easy to find.

Right in the middle of all the eating places and easy to get to anything you want.

The rooms are in very bad shape. The rooms have holes in the walls, doors, ect.. The first room they gave me, the front door would not shut properly. Water pressure was low in the shower. Possible mold growing in the floor corners.

The hotel is in an ok area and the local police patrol the area regularly. I was asked the first night if the room was ok and I said it was compared to the previous room. At least the front door closed. There was a half empty bottle of alcohol mix above the microwave. I found no signs of bedbugs. One of the room lamps did not work. The tv was ok but the channels were strange to navigate. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Evidently, the rooms are smoking rooms so, if you don't smoke, this place is not for you. The pool is basically a wading pool. I would not recommend this place except as a last resort. I will not be staying here again. ...read more

The Hotel was fine.
Some trashy residents kept yelling and having some sort of fight/arugment out in the lot, so it took a long time to get to sleep.

Overall, it was plain, but pleasant. The free breakfast was basically coffee and doughnuts, which is OK, but not great. The room was clean. SO, it was not bad.

The staff did not communicate with each other.

I requested a late check out and the night staff said they would communicate to the day staff. However, the maintenance man, some random employee and the cleaning lady twice asked me if I was staying another night trying to get me to leave. I told each I requested a late checkout however this was never communicated to the other employees or the front desk. Finally the font desk called me asking if I was leaving and I told him how I had requested a late check out the night before. This all happened within a 30 min time span. The hotel is average. You get what you pay for but the staff need to communicate. ...read more

The room was clean.
They did not replace toilet paper

I traveled from sw fl to welcome my son home from 1 year in Iraq. Thank god my son is over 6 ft and I would never visit this hotel without my gun (I took it to bed every night). But it is very convienent to Ft Stewart. Easy on the base and easy off. But when you have cops, and (sorry) mainly black people hanging around dealing drugs OPENLY it is a major concern.
