By far the worst Priceline motel we have stayed at during our 2-week road trip. About the only good thing about the motel is its location on the beach. Rooms were poorly maintained. The first two given to us had heating units that made very loud noises. Finally the third one was okay. When I went back to the office to get keys for the the third room, one of the staff was already renting the first room to another man. I had to rush back up to the room to get my wife out before the new guest arrived. Wonder if he had the same noise complaint? Also the staff sat behind keyboards away from the desk during the registration process which just seemed like a weird way to engage guests. I felt the overall quality of this motel to be poor and was surprised it was in the Priceline system. Had I stopped at this place during my own search, I would have quickly drove away. ...

The location was convenient. It needs updated. Floors in public areas looked like construction site, bare plywood. Mattress was hard and sheets rough. Wireless internet should not be listed as amenity for room, no signal was available.

Only good thing was the location. We won't stay there again.

I would stay again if we were put in a nicer section.

It's certainly an older hotel but everything on the OBX is. If they would modernize the TV's it would be awesome but that's minor. Can't complain about the price...

This should be billed as a -1star it was so bad. Put us in a room where the adjoining room had 2 dogs that barked every time we moved in our room. The whole hotel is old, run down with Carpet that has holes in it as well as the walls have holes. Pretty sad that this was billed as a 2 star and at the price that was charged.

I really don't think my opinion matters. I tried to back out of the deal as soon as I read some of the reviews about the hotel, but you would not let me out. You insisted that you would stick by your rating of a 2-star motel. Well, the reviews were right and you were wrong. It was a terrible motel and my money would have been much better spent just about anywhere else. I knew I was in trouble when I asked the hotel clerks if my room was a nice one and neither one of them would answer. I would not even give it a 1-star rating. If you value your reputation, you would take it off of your list entirely. I actually had someone tell me I should have used Priceline, and they were shocked when I told them that I did. ...

We loved our stay at this hotel! Clean, comfy beds, appeared to be recently remodeled, pleasant and helpful staff, nice breakfast offered daily. After Labor day is a great time to visit obx. We look forward to staying again at this hotel. :-)
