Great lobby and roof deck
The room was old and the carpeting in the hallway was disgusting.

The closeness to Lake Michigan.
Internet was additional cost. There was no desk. Small shower, not much space in bathroom.

Great location in heart of city!
No complimentary WiFi! Had to pay for WiFi PER device (separate charges or iPad, iPhone, Laptop was ridiculous!)! Wifi was free in lobby but had to get a code from desk and was only good for 30 minutes session.

Rooms & bathrooms a bit small and needed to be updated. Elevators were small as well. Hallway noise was a bit loud in room. Should be rated 2-2.5 stars at most until it is renovated. Wifi was not included in room price; had to pay PER device or Wifi; lobby wifi was free but required code from desk and only good for 30 minutes session. Fitness center was more like a room with a treadmill and one machine. ...read more

Clean room, friendly staff and outstanding location!
No, don't expect the Ritz but great hotel. Quite and walkable to everything!

Surrounded by great restaurants, one block from Michigan Ave. if you are looking for a clean nice sized room try this hotel.

The location was great - one block from Michigan Ave
The room was small, barely enough room for a queen bed. However, you don't come to hang out in the room, so it was fine. There was a faint cigarette smell to the room, even though it was non-smoking.

location
My room was so humid. Everything was wet. To make my room less humid, I had to set the air conditioner with such a low temperature and the room got so cold that I couldn't sleep at night.

The location and the staff make this hotel totally worth visiting. I am there at least twice a month and have always had a wonderful experience.
Before becoming a Choice Member the internet did cost money to access.

The hotel staff will go out of their way to make sure that your stay is fantastic. I've purposely learned their names just because of their constantly improving their standards of hospitality. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Location can't be beat for the price. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants in walking distance, and one block off Michigan Avenue.
Rooms are nice and clean, but simple. Hallway carpeting is in terrible condition. Torn and stained. It just cheapens the whole experience.

Staff was pleasant. Lobby is nice. Decent wi-fi.
