Hotel Guest Reviews of the Imperial Rooms

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel is located next door to the Coliseum, and within walking distance of the forum and palatine hill. Our room had a small window overlooking some ruins and to our left we could view the Coliseum.
The bathroom was a few steps from our room, but it was not a shared bathroom and was ours alone. No one in the larger room next door, so it was like having a two room hotel room. Staff was excellent and the location couldn't have been better.

location next to the coliseum was a plus if you are a tourist
The wifi connection practically did not exist, not even in the middle of the night. The hotel is on the first floor above two bars. The noise coming from the patrons and the loud music made imposible to sleep before 2 in the morning

The staff was nice but I did not believe the explanation about the more than poor wifi connection. Even with a signal booster in my room, I could not connect. Breakfast was simple but enough to eat although it was from 7:30 to 9:30 AM, So if you were in Rome for business and need it to leave the hotel before 7:30, you will have to get breakfast somewhere else.

The location is hard to beat. The hotel is 5 seconds away from the Colosseum and other essentials (like a bank, pharmacy, etc.)
Not much, although I couldn't figure out how to work the TV but who watches TV in Rome!

Great place to stay. My wife and I stayed here 2 night over a weekend and had a great time. The bars on the first floor were nice to have a night cap or a midday beverage. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice.
