Hyatt Regency Reston

Very nice and comfortable hotel and great location in the heart of the town center.

In no way I will say this is a four star hotel. I am cheated. This is second time of bad experience with Hyatt. Subpar facilities and still claim it as four star. I lose confidence with this hotel and somewhat priceline.

GREAT LOCATION, NICE HOTEL WITH MANY AMENITIES

My family got last minute tickets to the 2013 Inauguration. Hotel rates were high, especially within Washington DC (even our highest Priceline bids weren't accepted within DC). The only places left within our budget were by Dulles airport. We thought it wouldn't hurt to try for a 4-star hotel deal, and thankfully landed the Hyatt Regency Reston.All of the staff were very friendly and helpful; we weren't treated any differently just because we booked through Priceline. They accommodated all of our requests, from getting early morning taxis, room service, and even extra laundry hangers.We were pleasantly surprised that it was located within a big outdoor shopping area, the Reston Town Center, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and even an ice rink. A couple of restaurants are open until 2am. There is a Panera Bread connected to the hotel, great for cheaper breakfasts and sandwiches than the more expensive hotel restaurant.Being out by Dulles, we knew we were in for a long commute back and forth to DC. However, the bus stop to the metro was within 5 min. walking distance, and the local bus runs every 30 min. to West Falls Church Metro. We also noticed a new metro stop under construction along the bus route, so in the future, the commute should be even easier when it opens later this year.One complaint about the hotel is the extra fee for wi-fi. However, there are plenty of free wi-fi locations nearby, including the Panera Bread and other Reston Town Center shops. Also the hotel itself has a free computer room by the lobby, and I think Ethernet connections within the room are also free.Our other complaint is the hourly hotel shuttle to and from Dulles airport; since we just missed it we grabbed a taxi for $20-25 fare.Overall we had a great stay, and the great deal we got made the experience even sweeter. ...read more

This is a gem of a hotel just a short trip from the airport. It is a little bit removed from the Metro into DC, but this will be fixed soon as the new Reston Station will be opening soon.

Stay as long as you can! This hotel is located in an incredible setting.

Nice hotel, Reston Town Center has lots of shops and restaurants. Great Falls Park only 15 minutes away.
