Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff wasn't as friendly as the other hotel, but then again there were far more people around and they were very busy. Overall this is a wonderful - if expensive - place to stay.
Everything ever was more expensive than was strictly necessary. Food, drinks, you name it. That's to be expected in a hotel like this, but it seemed more excessive than others (in other areas, not necessarily Hawaii).

I felt manipulated and abused by the parking fees! Just quote an appropriate price and stick to it! Spoiled my vacation.

Landscaping and pool areas were beautiful. Location was excellent. Nice 20 minute walk past other hotels and condos along the ocean to Whalers Village for food and shopping.
Constant sellers of time-share in and out of hotel were bothersome. Extra cost for resort fees and self-parking were excessive, at $30 and $16 per day, respectively. Restaurant prices were very high.

Very nice public areas, but room was only very good, not great.

Service was great, amicable staff. Location and public spaces were very pleasant. Loved the in-house Macy's and Son'z restaurant!
No microwave in room was a bummer. Got a double bed room with partial ocean view but the beds were not the same size, one full bed and the other a queen. The room was dusty, it looked like it hadn't been used in a while.

It was absolutely beautiful. The pools with waterfalls, the easy access to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very nice.
That our room was on the bottom floor which felt like we were in a basement with no real view.

Very friendly, informative, and helpful staff. Concierge service was very helpful in answering questions on activities that I was interested in. Amazing views from the hotel.
Parking spaces are very tiny, and limited stalls. Unfortunately, there were some inconsiderate guests that used self-parking whom were parking challenged or double parked. There should be some type of parking lot enforcement from hotel to prevent it.
