Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very good service provided by the staff, from the front desk to the valet personnel.
Location was downtown which was pretty quiet (but altogether expected given Jacksonville).

We were participating in an event at Jacksonville University liked the proximity to the university.
Arriving at 2am, waiting a long time for clerk Ness looked for a room. Only to reach the room and find the keys did not work. Returned to her and was assigned a new room instead of reissuing new keys for the same room.

The rooms are very dated. Nothing special offered in lobby for welcoming you. Like door personnel, water, coffee, cookies, towels after morning run, etc.

Location and convenience. The front desk clerks were awesome.
The housekeeping department was bad. We stayed three days and our room wasn't thoroughly clean any day. Not one day did the housekeeper leave us a complete set of hand towels, wash cloths and towel. Every day I had to call the front desk to request towels

The location was excellent. Right on the river and within walking distance of downtown nightlife
$15 for wireless internet was a little much. Basic internet should be included

Hotel staff was very attentive, rooms were very clean.

The views from the hotel were awesome, staff was also extremely friendly. Rooftop pool was nice, but the pool bar closes too early.
The hotel mentions balconies, but they are not balconies they are simply windows that open, that was disappointing. Also, the "sports bar" was TINY not really worth mentioning, and they did not have access to the biggest college game on. The room was

The room was just ok... no major upgrades in the bathroom and the shower was a little short, not really what I would describe as luxury, it was sort of surprisingly standard. Bedspread was plain and overall room decor was rather bland. It was very clean, but other than that a little disappointing. The view was really the only plus to the room. The lobby area was really nice though. ...read more
