Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Regency Cancun

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The best beach on Cancun!
Very expensive! Even with the 50% F&B discount it's super expensive. Other hotels are cheaper

But overall a great stay. I am actually returning next mth

Nice quiet beach, great ocean view from our balcony.
The food was WAY to expensive- even with a 50% off coupon, it was pricey ... and mediocre at best. Avoid the food in the hotel zone, jump on the R-1 or R-2 bus and eat in town. Cheaper and 1000x tastier.

YES! The hotel zone in cancun can vary quite a bit. this was in the thick of it, meaning there was LOUD music all night..with strobe lights. The pool area, like many hotels in the area was boring boring boring.

Wait staff by pool couldn't be bothered. staff in indoor restaurants much better. overall would NOT stay here again.

The quiet beach and beds outside.
The good was mediocre at best, and terribly expensive even with the 50%. Coupon. I would never recommend the food at the hyatt cancun, which is unfortunate, as I was looking forward to it.

Beautiful calm beach. If you live in a landlocked area you'll love it. If you enjoy waves, you won't.

If you want the beach, you will be very happy. But it's really far for everything else.
The party zone is a long walk away. Even the bus stops are far away. It's very inconvenient especially since it rains on and off all the time. The worst is housekeeping always coming at odd times and walking into the room whether dressed or naked.

For the price I paid bidding online, this was a great deal no doubt! But not worth ---p/nt as advertised as their daily rate. A very clean beach. Nice swim up pool bar although the bartender can't make drinks. The meals are very pricey. Breakfast buffet was great. But the price is very high at 320 pesos ($30USD). The Grill restaurant has a great Shrimp Bisque and Flambéd Shrimp Brandy. But horrible Risotto. The Tiramisu was not worth $10USD in taste but nice presentation. The taxi drivers are all in cahoots! Get your own travel arrangements to the airport. Do NOT expect the hotel's help. It's about $65USDp/pax by hotel vs taxis at $50USD. The transport companies do it for $19p/pax round trip! Or take to the ADO Bus station negotiate 100-150pesos then the ADO bus is 58pesos only. The ADO bus is very efficient and organized. ...read more

The location is great, the rooms are nice and the view from the balcony is beautiful
The stuff was not so nice, unless you give them a very big tip.
