Staff was very friendly and willing to do their best.
Didn't get the type of room I ordered and since they were sold out, they wouldn't do anything for me. Adults sleeping on sofa beds is NOT COOL!! Continental breakfast was nice but poorly stocked if you went in the last hour.

Not much since Had some really bad experiences, the location is great and breakfast bar is excellent. front desk stuff are friendly.
There are three alarms happened in between mid-night to 2:30am which completely destroy my rest. We should be get fully refunded no matter what reason, but we have not heard anything back from the management at all. I see people leaving with angry

The breakfast buffet was good. They kept replenishing items as needed. Coffee was excellent.
The management was awful--very uninformed and very rude and unprofessional.

My stay at the Hyatt Place Ft Lauderdale/Plantation was very out of the ordinary. About the room: It was mostly clean. The toiletries however were used and the shampoo and lotion bottles were half empty. The day we were checking out, the room attendant was knocking at our door early in the morning (even though check out wasn't until 11) to start cleaning. About their staff: before checking in I called the hotel to inquire about early check in, room assignment and to request a non-smoking room due to some allergies. The manager on duty Amanda was highly incompetent insisting I contact the third party agency that booked our hotel to ask about room accommodations because according to her room assignments were done with the agency and not the hotel. This of course is wrong. She was very uninformed and rude. I then contacted my booking agent who explained that room assignments are done by the hotel (which is how I have known it to be). So I called back and this time I spoke with the assistant general manager. When I was on the phone with her she kept talking to other guests who were passing by. Then had me repeat my questions. I asked politely to please stop talking to others while I was trying to ask my questions. She became very ugly and said she was able to multitask. She kept calling me sweetie which I found very unprofessional. She became exasperated when I asked her again to please stop calling me that and then hung up on me. I travel a lot, usually choosing to stay at a Hyatt and never have I experienced such unprofessionalism and rudeness. I contacted the general manger but he wasn't in. I left a voicemail asking him to call me back but never heard from him. Once I arrived at the hotel Nicole checked us in. She was actually very pleasant explained the morning breakfast and answered my questions to the best of her abilities. Terrible bed old damaged mattress. The air conditioning unit was right next to the bed it was noisy and damp.

I would not stay here again.
