The rooms are nice I guess you can say, but, they are very dark so you feel like you are in a dungeon, they are humid and paint is falling from walls. In the bathroom the shower head looks disgusting with all kinds of stuff stuck on to it and the tub was all rusted up. As you can tell I was not impressed by the hotel, especially for it being a "5" star hotel. In my opinion I would give it "3.5" ; and again that's my opinion. If you have a choice go somewhere else and stay at a hotel that is closer to Guatemala City; you have many options. Unfortunately on the night I stayed here I did not have any hotel options. Next time I think that and "3" star hotel in the central area would be better for me. But I do want to add that I spoke with Howard, the manager, and he did sound attentive. Don't know what will come of the call but I did want him to know that the staff isn't doing their job. ...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta Vista real in Guatemala city. We stayed there the first night of our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The entire staff seemed to have the "at your service" motto and were extremely friendly and helpful. We only ate breakfast there, but the food was amazing and just added to our overall experience; not to mention the beautiful grounds and gardens perfect for photo opportunities! ...

It is a friendly hotel, nice landscaping, and close to downtown, not noisy (I was told that the ones in downtown are very noisy due to disco techs). I am willing to recommend it to anyone who wants quiet surroundings, if I go again I will choose it one more time.

Whilst the hotel room and surroundings were beautiful, the issue of being charged for breakfasts we did not have and did not know about, spoilt our stay. We are still trying to get the hotel to sort this out but they have so far failed to deal with the matter promptly or satisfactorily.

Excellent location and fantastic ambiance. The breakfast was included and certainly it was a complete and satisfying meal. This hotel gives you full value for the money spent.
